PDR BOX

Terms of Use

PDR BOX · Last updated October 22, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Oleksandr Los (“we”, “us”) for using the PDR BOX iPhone app and the website app.pdrbox.com (together, “PDR BOX”). By creating an account or using PDR BOX, you agree to them. If you use it for a company, you agree for that company too. Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with information, the End User License Agreement covers your licence to the app itself, and our Copyright (DMCA) Policy explains how to report copyrighted material. All three are part of these terms.

1. What PDR BOX is

A business tool for paintless dent repair: jobs, estimates, clients, photos, team, expenses, mileage and hail information. It's a record-keeping and calculating aid — not legal, tax, insurance or financial advice.

2. Accounts and companies

  • Give accurate details and keep your sign-in safe. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
  • Work lives in a company. The person who creates one is its owner and is responsible for it: who they invite, the roles they give, and the company's plan. Owners and admins can see their company's work as described in the Privacy Policy, and can remove people.
  • What the company's people enter for it belongs to the company. When someone leaves, the work they did stays with the company; their private expenses and trips stay theirs.
  • You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live.

3. Plans, trials and payment

  • While PDR BOX is in beta it's free, and features may change.
  • After that, a new company gets a free 4-week trial of the plan it chose, with no card needed. To keep making changes after the trial, the company's owner or an admin chooses a plan on the website. Plans are not sold in the app.
  • A plan is paid for the whole company, monthly or yearly, in advance: a price for the first person and a price for each extra person, counted at each renewal. Prices are shown before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe; taxes may be added where required.
  • Plans renew automatically until cancelled. We email you a few days before every charge, including the first one when a free trial ends. You can cancel any time on the website's Plan & billing page or from the link in any of those emails; the plan then runs to the end of the period already paid and doesn't renew.
  • Refunds: payments aren't refunded for unused time or for people removed during a period, except where the law requires it or we agree otherwise. If you think you were charged by mistake, write to us within 30 days.
  • If a payment fails, we and Stripe will try again for a while. If the plan ends or the trial runs out without one, the company becomes view-only: everyone can still see and export everything, but changes are paused until a plan is chosen again. We don't delete a company's work because it stopped paying.
  • We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; a change applies from your next renewal.

4. Your content

You (or your company) own what you put into PDR BOX. You give us permission to store, copy, process and show it only as needed to run PDR BOX for you — for example, to sync it to your team's devices or make a PDF. You confirm you have the right to upload it, including photos of other people's vehicles and their details.

Uploads are for photos and videos of your work and receipts. Don't upload anything else, and never anything that infringes someone's copyright, invades their privacy, or contains code, viruses or other harmful files. We may remove material that breaks these terms, and we respond to copyright notices as our Copyright (DMCA) Policy describes.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use PDR BOX to break the law, to infringe anyone's rights, to get into accounts or data that aren't yours, to interfere with or overload the service, to upload harmful files, to copy or resell it, or to reverse engineer it except where the law allows. The End User License Agreement lists the licence limits in full.

6. Estimates, prices and money

PDR BOX adds up estimates from the matrix rates, labor and options you choose, and works out pay splits and what's owed. Matrix rates in PDR BOX are a starting point, not an insurer's official numbers — check them against the carrier's current matrix. You're responsible for the estimates and invoices you send, and for anything you file or pay based on PDR BOX's figures.

7. Weather and hail information

Hail maps, storm reports and alerts come from public sources such as the National Weather Service, the NOAA Storm Prediction Center and the Iowa Environmental Mesonet at Iowa State University. We don't produce or verify them, and they don't endorse PDR BOX. Reports can be wrong or late, hail sizes in warnings are radar estimates, and alerts can be delayed or not arrive at all. Never rely on PDR BOX for your safety — follow official warnings and local authorities.

8. Other services

PDR BOX uses services run by others (for example Apple, Google, Stripe and our hosting providers). Their own terms apply to them, and we aren't responsible for them.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep PDR BOX running and your data safe, but we don't promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change, add or remove features. If we ever shut PDR BOX down, we'll give at least 60 days' notice so you can export your records.

10. Disclaimer

To the fullest extent the law allows, PDR BOX is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data, and our total liability for any claim about PDR BOX is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it arose. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

12. Indemnity

You agree to cover us against claims that come from your content, your misuse of PDR BOX, or your breaking these terms.

13. Ending

You can stop using PDR BOX and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law, and will tell you why unless we're not allowed to.

14. Apple

If you use the iPhone app: these terms are between you and us, not Apple, and we — not Apple — are responsible for the app and its content, maintenance, support, warranties and any claims about it (including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, and intellectual property). Your licence to use the app is non-transferable and limited to Apple devices you own or control, as the App Store's usage rules allow; the End User License Agreement sets it out in full. If the app fails to meet a warranty, you may tell Apple and Apple will refund its purchase price (if any); Apple has no other warranty obligation. You confirm you aren't in a country under a U.S. government embargo or on a U.S. list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

15. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. PDR BOX is meant for use in the United States.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll update the date above and tell you in PDR BOX or by email before it takes effect; using PDR BOX after that means you accept it.
